Who: Conrad & Savannah When: Backdated to May 14th after Savannah meets Harry Where: Savannah's apartment What: She needs only ask and he'll come running Rating:TBD Status: Ongoing
Conrad found this place strange, not a relaxing intriguing strange but an off putting nerve scraping strange that made it difficult for him to relax. He'd had better nights sleep even knowing Anais could be lurking around every corner waiting to kill him. Here he didn't know what the threat was or even that there was any threat and as much as that should have been comforting it was exhausting. It was too good to be true. There was a catch, he knew it, and the longer he went without finding it, the more annoyed he got.
He'd been about to pour himself another glass of whiskey (his consumption had tripled here) when Savannah had politely requested his company. Even though they were both in this odd place together and the only ones the other really knew it was rare for her to seek him out without provocation and so instead of teasing her mercilessly about it he put the glass down sloppily slapped the lid on the bottle and grabbed his keys. Of course he had no real idea where he was going, he'd managed to figure out where she lived easy enough. She might not have been a creature of habit (habitual behaviour made you easy to hunt and bump off) but she liked city living and fried elevators so an apartment block in the centre of the town without an excessive amount of stairs to climb up would be key.
Conrad had been 'looking after' Savannah for so long that he felt as if he could feel when she was near. It certainly didn't hurt that she was the only door on the floor with wards that he could feel when he drew up to it. They weren't strong which meant that she probably felt the same, there was no danger so she didn't need to make them any stronger but she wanted a warning just in case she was wrong. Knocking quietly he called out to her, "Savannah?" he laid his hand on the door knob and turned gently. The door opened and he stepped through closing it softly behind him, "Sweetheart?"
