Cutler laughed. "You're probably right about the second one." He had a feeling Enigma had been disappointed by his lack of interest. And she had originally wanted him to kill her. But she'd just disappeared, in the end, it was nothing to do with him.

He was quick. Instead of the arm, Cutler went for the werewolf's neck. Honestly, he'd be happy if this all ended with the fright. Or what was hopefully a fright. As much as he could have continued to argue, some actual sleep would be nice.
