Tony had never been so thankful to have his mother around as he was at that moment. He needed to talk to somebody that wasn't just going to tell him to suck it up and deal with it, while at the same time wasn't going to coddle him and tell him that everything would be okay. He knew that his mom would be honest about her feelings, and in regard to what he needed to do. He'd actually managed to avoid any anxiety attacks while on the island. Though they were something new. He remembered his time here, but he also remembered things from home that he hadn't known about when he came. And being younger as well, was really confusing him. He left the tower and made his way to his mother's apartment, not even bothering with enough layers to cover up the reactor's glow since it was no longer there. He knocked on her door and shoved his hands in his pockets, rocking back and forth from heel to toe as he waited for her to answer. |
