Belle's mouth fell a little when he pulled back, but the jolt of worry that she'd done something wrong (she felt so unsure, despite her boldness--her only knowledge of any of this coming from books) was quickly replaced with something close to exasperation. How often would she have to show that she didn't care for most people's standards of good and decent before he understood?
"Good ideas are highly overvalued," she said, quietly, fingers slipping into his hair. "People wouldn't really get anywhere if they only did what others said was good for them. Besides," she grinned mischievously, "When have I ever listened to what anyone else thought I should do?" She nuzzled against the crook of his shoulder. "I really don't give a damn if it's a bad idea or not, all I care about is how I feel when I'm with you."
