The question caught Tony by surprise enough that it made him laugh. But he wasn't laughing at Pepper at all. Just the absurdity of the moment finally caught up to him. He took a deep breath and let it out, smiling. "That just seemed like a stupid thing to hold onto when I found myself stranded on an island in the middle of nowhere." He ran his fingers through his hair before scratching the back of his neck. He took her hand.
"I'm sorry I laid all that on you. This isn't your fault and I shouldn't take it out on you. It's just....a little unnerving."
