"Sometimes order needs to be stirred," Raylan contradicted. An odd opinion for a lawman, but one he'd stand by nonetheless.
"How old were you when the accident happened?" He looked up and smiled at the person who replaced his empty glass with a full one and took an appreciative sip before questioning, "What's the one thing you've never gotten to do that you dreamed of doing your whole life?"
Raylan rubbed a hand over his chin, and gave Amanda a sidelong glance. "Or maybe we're all here at the whim of some crazy men wanting to experiment on a bunch of out of place people." It should be driving him nuts, not knowing where he was or who he was around. But for once, the weight of his badge was not on his shoulders and he was enjoying how that felt. Or maybe it was just the whiskey talking.
