Killian woke up early and made his way down to the beach. He stripped down to his underwear and dove into the water, trying to find some fresh kelp, and some fish to serve up to Micha for breakfast. The kelp was easy enough to find and he used his hook to cut a large amount of it free before taking it up to the beach and laying it with his things. He then went back out into the water. After about twenty minutes he had enough fish for the meal he planned to prepare. He slipped his pants and boots back on but used his shirt and jacket to carry the gathered supplies back to his apartment. It didn't take him long to prepare the fish and kelp and put it on a platter. He knew that mermaid stomachs couldn't handle cooked foods as well as they could raw, so he'd prepared a rough sort of sushi, making sure that the fish was a kind that could be eaten raw without any risk of infection. He wrapped the fish in the kelp and presented it artfully on the platter, then covered that. After a quick shower and change, he took the platter to the tower, going to the elevator and pushing the button. "Miss Micha has been notified of your arrival, sir." A voice came out of nowhere. Killian looked around but just shook his head. He'd done some reading up on Tony and had found him to be a technological genius so the fact that he had a talking elevator didn't surprise Killian much. "Um....thank you." He replied, not sure if he should reply or not. The elevator doors opened and Killian stepped out into what looked to be a laboratory with a giant tank off to one side. He smiled and made his way over to the tank and up the small ladder so he could look down into the water, balancing the platter on the edge of the tank. "Hello. You must be Micha." He wondered if she could actually hear him through the water. It was something that he'd always wanted to ask but never got close enough to the mermaids to do so. |
