WHO: Lothíriel and OPEN! WHAT: Not wanting to be here!! WHERE: In town WHEN: Thursday afternoon RATING: TBD STATUS: Incomplete/Open!
Lothíriel could not believe that she was still here. And that Éomer wasn't. What sort of cruelty was this? This was a deeper and crueler world indeed than anything that Sauron could have devised! To pull her from her love and her home so soon after she had found them both was beyond redress; beyond any hope of forgiveness. For who would do such a thing?! After spending so long in Dol Amroth, forced to hold in her every feeling and emotion, to be the proper daughter and not embarrass her Lord Father, she had finally found a home, a husband who did not wish for her silence and utter submission (although she obeyed him, of course she did!), and a man who encouraged her to be free with both her heart and her words.
Oh, Éomer! How she missed his golden hair and smiling eyes, and his warmth beside her as she slept. But now she was stuck in this place with her father, who was impossible as ever. She loved him, of course she did. But he was so difficult. And he expected her to be the daughter he had trained to be so dutiful as a child in Dol Amroth. Yes, only eight months had passed since her marriage, but she was that child no longer. She was a Lady of Rohan, the Queen of Rohan, and in those verdant fields she had found a freedom and a joy that she had never even known that she so yearned for.
She had gone out for a walk today, for she was used to walking both in Gondor and in Rohan, but she stopped on a corner with her hand over her belly, trying to decide the best direction in which to go. The pub was close, but the doctor had told her that she should not drink while she was pregnant, and she had no wish to hurt her child. Her father lived near, but she had no wish to see him. So she simply hesitated, lost and alone, and knowing not in which direction to go forward.
