Her confession had been unexpected, but she'd known she'd loved him since the damn train forced all those songs out of her. Hell Bruce's greener side had known it before that. His confession nearly blew her away. Not that she didn't feel loved. She did. The little things he'd done for her. Things that most wouldn't. And Maryanne could only hope that she made him feel the same way.
It was like dead weight stripped away, knowing, without any doubts. And it was her turn to rain kisses all over his face. "I missed you, so much." It felt like a life time had passed. But it had only been a few weeks. Any pain she'd gone through, if that had been what brought him here, it was well worth it.
