Part of him was glad Damon was doing this. Giving him all the pain he could think of at one time. And part of him understood. Marcus had been dead, no use for Damon to mourn. He would live forever. An eternity alone seemed like a waste.
Head shook. "I wouldn't have expected you to be," he answered softly. But he couldn't lift his head. Couldn't do anything except cling tightly to Damon.
