"Lex," she said frowning and reaching up to touch his cheek at the look on his face. He didn't think she'd changed her mind, surely? "Relax, sweetheart," she added, as she removed the ring from his finger delicately, putting it into her back pocket and retrieving the one she'd found, the one she'd picked.
"That one was just until I could get something more suited," she explained, as she slipped the new ring onto his finger. She kissed him quickly. "Do you like it?"
