Ed knew exactly what they were going to talk about.
He'd been all kinds of unsure about it ever since they'd all got out of jail, and he'd helped that James kid back, which was kinda cool, and then he'd got back to the flat and. Well. Awkward was possibly a huge understatement when it came to how Ira and he were interacting. Ira was moving about like he was trying to get used to his own body again, which, yeah, that was fucked up.
And Ed? He was moving about like the clumsiest person on the island because should he start to talk about things? Should he ignore it completely? He didn't know! And so the glassware and crockery shook, rattled, fell over and bounced off of things at previously-unheard of rates because he was distracted and worried and also a klutz, apparently. And then Ira had texted him and the bloody windows had almost rattled out of the walls.
Making tea calmed him down, although he got so caught up in wondering how Ira could even drink tea now if he was ...well. Dead... that he missed said walking corpse coming in from his run.
