"Really?" Cal asked, stepping forward, his eyes wide and filled with wonder. He really couldn't believe his eyes. It wasn't like he was witnessing just a piece of Jedi history in front of him. It was a new start. It was proof that they could rebuild and carry on. While it made him feel optimistic, there was a pain there that wouldn't just fade away so quickly. So much loss, so much pain, so much grief. It was hard to trust the good things in front of him, even if he tried.
"I... " he paused and turned around to face Kytana. "Maybe one day" he said. "I'm just not sure I'm ready to live in a temple again. Not yet. I just need some time" he said, sadness lingering in the depths of his voice. "But I'd like to spend time here. And explore. And I'd like to get to know you better" he added, some of that hope returning to his tones once more. He tried to smile through it all, glancing from Kytana to the new temple.
