BD-1 walked around Kytana, taking note of the lightsaber before walking back to Cal's side. The little droid was sure Cal already knew though so didn't notify him.
Cal couldn't imagine what it would be look to be in that position. Reading about the past in the archives made sense, but reading about a future so far ahead in the same place? Was mind boggling to the young Jedi. Everything about his new surroundings was just as baffling. Trust only in the Force, he thought.
"I'd like that" he replied with a nod. "If you'll have me?" he asked, making sure. While a part of him was wary, he knew he had to at least try to trust. It was always going to be difficult for him, but he always tried. Tried to show optimism in a cruel, indifferent universe.
"What do you think, BD-1?" he asked the droid. The droid looked up at him and chirped in a way that sounded like he was saying, "Let's go!".
Unlike Kytana's traditional looking garb, Cal himself was dressed differently. He hadn't worn Jedi robes for a long time. Not since he was a child. He wore a brown leather bomber jacket, with a dark blue top underneath, and a pair of goggles around his neck, along with a pair of dark blue coloured trousers and knee high boots. He wore two sabers at his hips, and a blaster in a holster on his thigh.
