Perhaps it was bravery, although Edward didn't think it so. The stars and open space were vaster than any ocean he had ever sailed, and perhaps even more dangerous, but there was the chance to explore. The chance to find things of value that would make all of their lives easier. The rewards made the risks worth it, just as they had made the choice to sail just as easy. There was no room for fear.
Edward smirked and wrapped his arms around her. "There's a choice?" he asked her, his tones light hearted and flirtatious. He mirrored her facial expression, a smirk lifting the corner of his mouth. He leaned in to kiss her.
