Edward continued to walk down the ramp until he met her off the ship, clapping as he did so. "A pleasant and welcome surprise, indeed. I thank you" he replied. Although a part of him did hope she brought rum as well. Was that bad?
Edward enjoyed her sort of flirting. It was still unfamiliar enough to catch him off guard in a way that didn't make him uncomfortable. It was other worldly and fun. "Oh do I?" he replied. "There's always time for supper later" he replied with a wink.
"As for the ship?" he added, glancing back at it briefly. "Aye, she fairs well enough. I am almost finished working on fine tuning everything. And while I am accustomed to a crew taking up this sort of work, it's proving to be quite rewarding" he admitted. "Although learning all of this has been difficult" he added, scratching the back of his neck. "Your company is most welcome" he smiled.
