The cashier took the cred stick and rung up their choices. Once he was done, he handed Bryn back her cred stick. He then moved out from behind the cash register and pressed a button on the wall. A section of the wall swung out to reveal an open doorway leading to an area obscured by greenery. The cashier gestured towards the open door and waited.
John picked up his items, pocketing the rings and keeping a hold of the talisman. He moved to the open doorway and stepped through. On the other side was a rectangular shaped garden lined in tall wild hedges. It was opened up to a strangely blue sky above and below, the grass was a soft green. In the centre there were various flowers and plants with a clear path laid out in sandy coloured stones. The middle was made of those same stones but in the centre, a small pond sat, dotted with waterlilies.
John looked around, taking it in. He glanced back, hoping for more instruction but there was none. When Bryn walked in, the door was closed behind them. It was as if there was no door. Just the wild hedges that lined the small garden.
