The unexpected voice startled him and Mickey couldn't help but jump. Like most people, Mickey didn't like to be startled. Unlike most people, Mickey was more vocal than was strictly necessary when he was.
"Jesus. Fuck," he yelled as he almost dropped the XBox he was trying to remove from its packaging. He plonked it down when it was, with a muttered motherfucker, before turning in the direction the voice had come from.
For a second Mickey thought it was Kash sitting there. But that was not Kash. He'd almost understand why Gallagher had gone there if it was. But Mickey wasn't intimidated. He'd put on a little more muscle himself during his most recent stint in juvie, and if that failed him, like any kid from his side of town, he knew how to run. That, and he was probably too stupid to be intimidated. This was not his world. The Milkovich name meant nothing here. But he didn't think about that.
"Yeah," he said with a nod. "D'you know if there's an extra ..HDMI cable around here anywhere?" He moved to flip the console over, displaying the slots for the various leads and connectors. There were RCA leads in the box, but with a setup like this..
(OOC: Sorry about not thinking about the door being locked. You're welcome to email me if I've overlooked something like that and I'll happily remedy it in the future!)
