Marc had been paying attention to what Bryn was saying to Steven, and how he'd been reacting as well, so it wasn't hard to miss the sudden sense of Interest when Bryn used a language he didn't know.
"Neither of us is possessing the other, this body belongs to both of us," he told her, careful to not roll his eyes at yet another person suggesting possession. Pretty weird that that seemed to be the go-to rather than just good old mental health issues. "I wouldn't change this for anything. Steven's only just found out about me, though, so I think he's still adjusting."
He needed his coffee, though, so he walked over to the table and lifted the mug with his name on it, and took a drink.
"Khonshu insisted that you find out about us, because he wants me to protect as many people as possible, which obviously includes your daughter, but he also wants Steven to examine your Egyptian artifacts, and whatever's in the museum. He says there's something important there, but won't give us any more details."
Steven scowled in the reflection in the window, arms crossed as he looked round for the god. "I'm examining them because I want to, not because he's 'ordered me' to do it. Bloody pigeon, who does he think he is?"
