She had not noticed if the beast had moved because of things Blank did or not, it didn't falter her upward movement. Nor did its thrashing throw her from its back. She simply sank her claws in fist deep, and went for the ride.
Laura had been aware of the tail coming at her, but had been unconcerned. Or at least she seemed as if she did. She had been going to move at the last moment so that it stabbed itself, but Dean acted quicker than she counted on. It didn't matter too much, there was an instant shift in strategy. She sank in the claws that jutted out of her boots into the middle of it's back. Hauling out the four claws of her fist she instead jammed them upward, into the back of it's head.
