Blank wasn't a fan of the fact that Johnn decided to use Dean as a test subject for his little 'Danger Room.' It kind of pissed him off, did Johnn not think he was good enough to have a training session?! Especially with a bunch of Goblins. He suddenly appeared next to Johnn with a grimace on his face. Blank cracked his neck before moving down to his knuckles. "'Sup, buddy? A fight without me?"
"No. Nothing like that." Johnn entertained his friend as he kept his 'eyes' on his analyses. The Mechaman had no intention of not including Blank, but this was a test run, and honestly, as harsh as it would seem... He cared more about Blank than he did for Dean. If something went wrong, and Blank got hurt, it would crush him. "Does Scarlet know you're here? Cyran? .... Byrn?"
The younger man looked down at his Wedding Ring, the gift the 'man' standing next to him gave them both. "No, of course they don't." His eyes rolled, as they both knew the answer to such an obvious question. "So, you're thinking I could get hurt by the X-Men room you've made? C'mon..." Blank spoke with a smirk, he felt as though he was ready for a head on fight. Especially while watching Big Blue crush so many of the Goblins that were being thrown at him. "I went toe-to-toe with Nero!"
"Did you, though?" Johnn gave him the side eye as he continued to work on small modifications with this system. "Do I need to remind you of what happened before? You got taken out by another version of Bonnie and yourself." He spoke bluntly to his friend, as he knew that was basically the only way to get through to him. Johnn spoke so because he cared about Blank, about Scarlet, Reeve, Cyran, Bryn... Everyone from their world. Well, not just them, but Sophia, and others. He just doubted himself right now, this was still in the testing phase, Dean was an easy mark for something like this. The soldier and scientist in him didn't really care about the Dragonborn. He wanted results, and Dean could provide those without making Johnn feel too guilty, if he didn't.
"Firstly, fuck you.. Second. Okay, you're right." Blank sighed out as he watched the Dragonborn rip through the goblins like they were made of paper. "I... I fucked up.. Do I have to constantly be reminded of how I failed to protect everyone I care about?" It was a sore spot for him, and the last person he thought would use it against him was Johnn. It almost made him want to kick his friend in the face. But, thinking on it; Johnn was right, he did got taken away. Spent months in that drowning hell, and he had been to Hell just before that. That event and the aftermath was more fun. "J-just give me the chance. Even if this isn't it... Let me try to make it right... For myself."
Johnn stayed silent for a few moments, watching the action, studying every bit of it. Dean was a remarkable specimen, showing how resilient he was, even with so many attackers on him. "There will be a massive creature showing up, do you remember that Scorpion-'God' we faced down back in '13?" Blank perked up as he turned to Johnn. "Yeah, the one Nero spiked into the Luxor Hotel, while Bryn made a huge cover up just after. How could I ever forget that? Why?" " Good. I'm glad you remember. Because, I'm about to show it to Dean." Johnn spoke stoically as he took a step back, his eyes quivering lightly as he accessed more bits of the programming. The ground between them and Dean began to shift greatly.
