"Ah, you're always keeping us well fed," Alexander smiled. No matter how well they got to know each other, there would always be a part of Alexander that just remembered her as 'the woman with the good snacks'. Although, he was strangely sure that he could just show up at her place anytime and demand to be fed, and it would happen.
He placed the bottle back down, and carefully picked up a slice of pizza. She hadn't offered any cutlery, so he had to assume that lift and eat was the correct way to approach pizza. "Damn, I'm almost sorry Darcy isn't here to see this," he joked. He liked the guy, but my god he had a stick up his ass.
Alexander took a bite as she started to explain about AJ and the kids. It was good, a pleasant mix of flavours and textures.
"Um, sort of... I saw the list you sent to Liberty about baby names," he told her, feeling a sudden pang of guilt. What the fuck was he doing? "And you said that you had only given birth... what was it, two times?"
