"I'm back!" he agreed, properly beaming at her. He definitely felt a little fuzzy round the edges. It was funny seeing her in the style of dress he was more used to, looking at paperwork by candlelight. It made everything feel very real and normal to him.
"Great, yeah," he told her with a nod, gladly moving properly into the room to sit beside her when she gestured for him to join her. "Crawley had made some attempt to recreate his time's London," he explained as he took a seat. "They're always out-Britting me," he joked lightly.
"I'm glad he was alright for you," he told her. "He's really very fond of you, you know."
