"They're a pain in the chest. Those wire things were awful," Miguel grumbled, before watching as Mouse did as he was asked.
After a little while of ear scratching and floor-thumping, he decided that was enough for now. "Okay Mouse, that's enough. Will you go check on Harri, please? Make sure she hasn't fallen off the floor or through the couch or something," he asked the dog, and even fired a glob of webbing at the panel by the door to open it for him.
Mouse licked both their hands before leaving, and went out to the living room. Another glob of webbing hit the panel again and the door closed almost as soon as Mouse was out of sight, and then Miguel was looking back round (and up) at Sarah again.
"Does that help? And why are you taller than me? I know one of your uncles is usually ten feet tall, but that's not exactly something that's genetically in the family," he deadpanned.
