"I think the station helps us find the right people." Eddie said. If only all the station magic was good, then he wouldn't have to deal with shit like his current situation. "I meant the me from that movie. The one that died like this. Hell, the me from the book too, the one that died from losing an arm." He shook his head. "I don't think any version of me was on that bad station." At least he liked to think that there was never any Eddie that had any connection to Higgs after what he did to Richie.
Eddie shrugged. "Mention it to Richie. If there's a way to mess with someone, he'll find it. You know, a way that screws with them without being mean." Richie never crossed that line. None of the losers would have do that. They'd all been bullied themselves back home. "There are enough dogs on the station. I don't think any of them chase cats though." They'd all been trained like the wolf-dogs on what not to do. He wouldn't want to undo that.
"I'll look into it." Eddie said slowly. He knew the people on the station could do all kinds of amazing shit with technology, magic, various combinations of both. He didn't want to get his hopes up though. When the station wanted to mess with a person, he'd never seen it get undone until the station wanted it too. And the station had been messing with him, by choosing to make him this kind of ghost.
Eddie nodded and followed him, but he still didn't feel that same confidence.
