"It's impossible to keep from knowing everyone's stories." Eddie commented and made a slight movement to nudge Blank's shoulder with his own. A little physical sign to show that he was okay with it. His shoulder went right through Blank's though. "Fuck. At least I'm not missing an arm." Eddie paused. "Yeah, but I would want the wolves to be okay too. They were the first animals I had contact with, once I knew I didn't have allergies." Petting any animal, especially wolves, had been a big step in his life towards overcoming his phobias of germs and other fears. "They're family."
Eddie glanced down at his own hand for a moment, lost in thought. His ghost self had a ring. The wrong ring, from his other self's marriage to Myra. Ugh. The ring was ugly to him, the kind of bland thing Myra would have thought a man should wear. It actually felt like it was too tight on his hand, until he reminded himself that it didn't matter. Just station shit. The feeling was in his head, ghosts didn't feel that kind of thing. He looked back up Blank. "Okay, yeah. okay." He agreed, stepping into the elevator.
