Alexander really didn't understand how he had gotten from chair to gurney, but he supposed the important thing was he had made it and he didn't have to try to stand up on his own feet.
He was scared. Of course there was no alternative, medbay was the only place for him, but he'd been in to visit before and all of the lights and the metal and the machines frightened him.
"Um... if..." he mumbled, not sure how to respond to even a simple question. "Done enough. Sorry," he added. In his head he was explaining that Bucky had already done more than enough for him, and he wouldn't take up any more of his time by insisting he accompanied him to the medbay. But that was all that came out before he could feel his eyes rolling back again and he fought to just stay awake a little longer.
