Who: Adam, Dan, possibly Abra? Also Brenna Where: The policestation/Jail where Brenna's being held What: Les hommes sont très en colère. When: Backdated! Just after this and this and this! So... 21 December, I think. Rating: tbd Open: To those above
Adam had quickly thrown together a cover-story to explain why they were about to go into a police station and tear strips off of as many policemen as possible. It went like so: Dan was Adam and Belle's gardener, who normally worked on the many different gardens back at Adam's castle, who had been brought to Paris in order to see if he could deal with the smaller gardens that the prince's city residence had (Dan could feel that Adam was developing further layers to the backstory as it was explained to him, but thankfully, no time was wasted in going through them). Naturally, Brenna was Dan's wife and one of the housekeepers, and a close confidant of Belle, along with Dan's ward, Abra (Belle's chambermaid). Brenna had not been feeling well, and had gone for a walk, and the next thing they had heard, she was arrested and in jail. And so, Adam was beyond livid as he stormed into the station like the entitled nobleman that he was.
Dan felt more than uncomfortable in the clothes Adam had given him to wear, but he fought the urge to squirm and adjust the clothes and simply stood behind his temporary boss, staying quiet while the other man raised hell with the local cops. Granted, everything was being said in French, and at great speed (and sometimes great volume) so Dan could only make out about one word in ten, but he didn't even need to tune in with his Shine to work out the jist of what was going on between the other men.
Meanwhile, Adam was beyond pissed off at the Captain, since a valued member of his household staff was being treated in such a disgraceful style, and leaving the rest of her family unable to do their work because they were worried about her, and this police captain was respons-... oh, no, it was not the Captain's fault?
Dan kept from reacting as the cop tried all kinds of ways to backpedal away from being the one responsible for bringing this enraged nobleman into his area, but it was pretty fucking difficult. He kept a tight rein on his anger, though, otherwise he would be in real danger of fucking everything up. He was there to get Brenna, and that was it, not to grab the man by the front of his jacket and haul him over the desk so he could beat the absolute shit out of him. So he stayed where he stood, and shot the occasional glance in the direction that he knew Brenna was in.
"Laissez-la partir. Maintenant!" Adam ordered, allowing just a hint of inner Beast to echo in his voice, and the policeman hurried to obey. Dan knew what that meant, and he moved to stand near the door while Adam remained where he was, still glaring at anyone else in the room that dared to look in his general direction.
