Katherine watched Enjorlas. At first, her own anger masked his hurt. She was too caught up in her own emotions and then noticed how very selfish they were. This was his world. This child had been someone he had known. Her anger was meaningless compared to his. It didn't make it go away though, just allowed her to see through the veil.
"We will. Pick someone and we will make them pay." The words were a low growl. Anger came to easy to her these days. She wanted to strip someone down. Wanted to hurt anyone who dared to cause pain. It scared her. But she didn't know how else to deal with all the loss she had suffered. At least here she could do something. At least here her anger could cause change. At least she hoped it could.
