"Different galaxy... yeah," Tommy agreed, deciding that explaining how none of the star maps they'd found on the Station or in his mom and dad's ship matched any of the star maps that had ever been brought back from Earth was not going to help in any way, shape or form. And they were in a different galaxy, it was true. So, that was easy enough.
The comment about Rawm being a myth made him smile, though. "You could probably say that about a lot of the different creatures that are here. And some of the people, too," he admitted, before rubbing at Rawm's tummy with the sole of his shoe. The dog squirmed happily on the floor before deciding he'd had enough of that and rolling back round to lie on his front again.
Robert's sudden anxiety was easily felt, though, and Rawm got up and padded over to the newcomer. The dog nudged at Robert's thigh, and Tommy offered some advice. "If you're going to pet him, be careful of the sparks. I'm told they can nip a little. And what do you mean by 'A place between heaven and...'?" he asked, trailing off when Robert did.
