Ardyn was not entirely fond of the thought but there was little he could do about it. Not without walking back down a dark path and that was something he had no desire to do. There were no Gods to manipulate his future any more. No worries about Kings or bloodlines, destinies or fates. The station and the Heart itself had saved him. He owed the station and those on it.
"I understand" he replied with a nod. "This place saved me from a terrible fate. I must do what I can in order to help" he said, pausing to chuckle. "Words I have not come close to uttering in such a long long time..." he said, his tones more sombre.
"As to how powerful I am?" he paused. "I am old. Immortal. And I do have a great deal of power at my fingertips, that is true. If there was no risk in the Hearts corruption making things worse, I would have drawn it out myself and taken it into me, but knowing the risks? It is something I will not do..." he paused. "Unless... you can protect me with use of the Force and we can find something else to place the corruption into. Something we can destroy..." he proposed thoughtfully.
