James appreciated Eggsy's loud and clear introduction. The adrenaline was wearing off now, but he was still a little on edge, and as Eggsy likely knew well enough his 'fight or flight' instincts were nearer the surface than on the average person. He was used to being on high alert.
"Alright. Good to see you. It's been a while," he told him casually, as if there was nothing all that unusual about their meeting after all.
He caught the questioning look, and shot him something equally baffled looking. He'd explain properly when things were calmer, and everyone was more settled. "Yeah, starving. Diner sounds good," he nodded. Food for the little one would've been his first point of order too.
Mathilde frowned a bit, looking to James and then back to the new face in confusion. "Yeah, it's okay. He's safe, you don't have to hide from Eggsy," James told her gently.
