"I do like experiments," Miguel replied, "even if it's just to confirm that the expected result does occur." He paused for a moment while he tried to think if there was a door open, and then shook his head. "No doors that I know of," he continued, fairly certain that Jake wouldn't find a door and not bother posting on the network about it. And then he was laughing a little at the idea of him having blinkers like the car he'd gotten in Brooklyn.
Even as he signed his reply, Lyla manifested between the pair of them, before moving out to the side a little so they could both see her hands, looking as if she was walking about on the workbench beside Miguel. "Jake has not posted anything about doors since April," she told them, before sitting down on a spool of solder and fixing her skirt. "I am unsure if Miguel requires blinkers, though. What do you think, Maria?"
Suddenly, there were two lights either side of Miguel's temples, one flashing off and on as if he was going to turn to the left. They weren't very bright, though, since they were quite close to Miguel's eyes.
