"Dan?" Cuddy asked as she quickly disinfected his arm and inserted an iv into his forearm. She doubted he could hear her in his condition, though nothing was certain. Patients had been known to surprise her, especially with the strange events on the station. "If you can hear me, we're helping you." She decided not to say who was there, in case that would upset the evil forces inside him. She opened one of Dan's eyes and then the other, checking for a response. Glancing at Miguel, she handed him the iv drip bag. "Hold this up. And be ready to help me get him on the gurney."
Abra stepped back at the touch on her elbow, returning her attention to the physical space in front of her. She followed Jessica's lead and nodded. "Yes. I'm moving the ghosts in his head into special boxes." Boxes that only existed in her mind and Dan's mind. She knew how difficult that had to be to believe. "It has to be fast, so I have to be close. They can't have a chance to get away and into anyone else's head." She paused. "It's like if there was a bad guy, right in front of you, you could reach out and grab him and throw him in a jail. But if he was far away, you might not catch him and he might hurt someone else." The ghosts were very, very bad.
