Annie looked at Bonnie and considered her words, watching the red hues play over her body again as she spoke about Blank's death again. Her mind cast back to her thoughts in that moment and from her perspective now she'd have pushed him harder, not given him a choice.
"Maybe once, yes. But I think even you can understand that at that moment in time our two stations and their personas had been enemies. It is from this moment we have the chance to change all of that. I had the chance to stop things then, I failed. I have the chance to stop them now and I intend to succeed." She sighed, "But I need help to do that and the first person I need to ask is you."
She took the SSD card and slipped it into a secure port on the back of her head, just above the neckline. Trust was a two way street, whilst she did want to see the cards' contents she didn't want to expose herself to a dangerous cyberbrain attack. It's contents would be scanned carefully and at any hint of a virus, deleted.
As she watched the footage she considered Bonnie again, "I think you may have misunderstood my question however, or I misunderstood yours... I was asking why you wanted to know what I had been told about you... Were you asking me what Kat had told me about you?"
