Annie felt the connection sever abruptly, her minds eye picturing the RFLY drone clunking lifelessly to the ground in some other place. She saved the footage in her cyberbrain of everything she had seen on the other side of the portal through her various devices.
To most, such horrifying creatures would strike terror in the heart, but Annie was not most. She had fought demons from hell-scape lands, investigated the supernatural and odd as part of her operative life and seen or committed atrocities beyond most human comprehension. Paired with the gut feelings she experienced in the mine, however, she was a little shaken. If the circumstances here were connected to those on the station it was imperative that she and the others solved this and soon. Her gut told her that these creatures would not be friendly when they did arrive in their world from their lifeless, colourless and dark place.
She stood, looking over at Loki. Her voice calm, she spoke bluntly; "I think we have a very big problem on our hands."
