Annie nodded, a grim smile of understanding on her face. She would have been the same, was the same when she was at home. Allowing herself a brief moment of nostalgia, she blinked a few times, before releasing Abigail's hand and touching the girl's temple gently and shared what she could see telepathically to Abigail.
Physically, they were stood in the room. Mentally...
This was different to the screen. In their minds' eye the pair were standing in the corridor where Annie had last seen Will, the "footage" or vision frozen in time, like a memory placed on pause. Annie's voice rang out in Abigail's head. "This is not a lucid dream, rather a 3d representation of the recording. You can't change events here, but I thought it would be more believable for you."
With a simple wave of her hand, she played the footage from the beginning. Will walked round the corner with Teddy, towards them and past them. After a few steps the man disappeared, leaving a confused Teddy pacing back and forth. "I can't explain this... but he did not appear injured or distressed." she said, looking over at the girl.
