Lacey felt a bit of curiosity tugging at her. Wanda had said imagined, implying that she didn't actually have a home like that. That raised questions in her mind, the kind of thinking that always led to her being labelled nosy back home. She called it being concerned. Still, she knew it would be a bit much to ask about a new arrival.
"Oh, I do. I'm originally from Toronto, and I don't miss that. I made Dog River my home later. It's the people from there that I miss. They were more of a family to me than my actual family." It felt strange and good to finally admit that out loud. "When I get down, I always manage to find someone or something here that cheers me up."
