Re: Wanda and Ed'wari
Ed'wari nodded, an impressed look on his face and a warm smile playing across his features. "Well... I think that is the first time I have been asked that question in my lifetime." he grinned. "I am impressed, Wanda."
"It is written in fate, seen by all members of my kind of all different sects. There are those who believe it cannot work, those who refuse to accept it will or those who are scared of the cost. My kind's souls are damned from the day they are born because of the sins of our forefathers. She Who Thirsts waits beyond the grave for each and every Aeldarri soul, the price we pay for our elders excesses." he spoke, anger fluttering beneath the surface of his voice.
"For so long each of our different sects have practised ways of running from the problem. How would we, the children of the Phoenix Lord, possibly ever destroy a God born of our own sins?" he asked rhetorically.
Now, his voice practically glistens with hope. Absolute trust in his own words. "There is only one solution. Written in the stars and fate. Written in the history of our people back before the birth of the race of Man and even the Aeldarri. What is the one thing that can truly kill a God? Another God. A God that embodies the aspect of Death."
