Ed'wari closed his eyes softly and sighed through his nose, acutely sensing the girl's emotional response to his refusal. He leaned forward and took up a biscuit and ate a few mouthfuls. His keen senses lit up as he chewed and swallowed, before taking a mouthful of the tea. He'd been through this kind of ritual before, it didn't always agree with him. He nodded, opening his eyes with an air of approval.
He took a few moments to compose himself, before relaxing in his chosen seat.
"Quite a change to my usual environs. I expected the station to be much like those of the Imperium, a stinking hive of mon'keigh with a lack of silence and beauty. Those of your kind where I am from prefer form over grace, functionality over aesthetic." he began, gesturing with his hands as he spoke, practically painting his words. "I still find it strange that I am here and not there, but I would assume that it is related to my journey."
