His soft, apologetic stance did not change. Myrkvan was right, he was wrong to just suddenly grasp upon to her like that. Dean was excited, but that was no excuse. Though, the stage would be completely different if he was put into his Rage. He wasn't, so it was neither here nor there.
There was something... Something Dean did not realize at first. A strong presence. A force that made the other animals around him bow? Was that the right word? Probably not. Then he heard her voice. It caused him to jump.
His 'jump' was about twenty feet, with his wings flapping out, sending him up and away from the source. If Kat or any of the animals others would notice, Dean did not give into his Rage. Instead, he just gave himself distance.
"Dean..." He looked at 'human' that was meters away from him, with a small snarl on his snout. She seemed familiar to him, but at the same time... Not. Did he know her? No. How could he? Dean has only met a few people, and she was definitely not one of them.
"Is Raven Haired Lady here to hurt Dean?!" His clawed hand immediately grabbed on to the grip of the hammer on his back, while his eyes moved around Kat's menagerie. Doing his best not to throw himself into a Rage. "Dean only wants to be friends! Red told Dean that Dean had nothing to worry about!!" His snout turned into a deep frown, had Shannon lied to him!? Were there people here meant to hurt him?
A fire began to glow in his eyes, though, it was more as a reaction than anything else.
