"You got a holoagent?" he asked, spelling out the word 'holoagent' since he couldn't quite remember the sign for it. How many were there going to be on the station now, he wondered. Not that he was complaining, not in the slightest - he'd felt lost without Lyla on the other station, after all. He'd gotten one himself, and was planning to install it into whatever lab he picked out - the hardware was sitting in the apartment he'd been sleeping in. He was going to need Lyla's help to upgrade the system so that he could then let her move over from his watch. Two different Lylas, plus Maria's, at least.
"What do they need, that you have to work on them? Or are you working on their appearance?" he asked, and then drank some more coffee. "I could maybe help, if you wanted?" She'd given him food, after all. He had to repay that somehow, right? Then he pulled a little bit off of the end of the roll and ate it. It was sweet and sticky and like nothing he'd had for such a long time. "This is amazing," he said, forgetting to sign for the moment.
