"Lacey. She won't mind." Maria signed. That was a simpler answer. Lacey liked everyone. Or wanted everyone to like her. It tended to have the same result. "As long as you don't take anything with a note on it. Those are the ingredients she needs for the next day." All very orderly and planned out. Maybe that would at least make one place easier to adapt to.
Maria made a point of looking down at his ribs and then back up to his face incredulously. "That doesn't mean you don't need help tonight." She pointed out. There had been desperate moments in her timeline, the ones that had led her to build up the station's defenses. She understand pushing past pain when it was necessary, but only then. Otherwise, ignoring pain could lead to greater problems. Maybe she could convince him to see Cuddy later.
