Doubling back on himself a few times, swearing when he ended up walking in a loop and generally trying to work out where the hell someone could be when he knew they should be right there. Eggsy trailed off as he realised what was going on. Kat's mate was either right above or below them, or in the walls themselves. Merlin would've been real fucking handy right about now, he'd have found a layout of the entire floor and been telling Eggsy the right route the whole time. But he wasn't, so Eggsy needed to find whatever place would let him get into the ceiling or the floor.
"Call your mate. Not on your phone, out loud, and we'll see if she reacts," he said, and leaned against a wall panel, one ear right up against it to see what he could hear.
