"Eddie, right," Ritchie smiled. "I can tell!" he joked in return, smiling a little wider. "You knew each other before the Station?" he asked. He couldn't remember if Richie had already told him, but there had been a lot to take in and process on their first meeting.
"I don't mind," Ritchie said with a chuckle. He wasn't exactly a subtle person, and there wasn't much that he tended to hide, especially from people he felt comfortable around. "Yeah, a few people, I suppose," he said, and then frowned at his own answer. "Not like that. Well, one of them like that. Sort of?" he scrunched his nose up and gave another little laugh.
"My friends are my found family. My own... they just don't see me, not really," he explained. "Sounds a bit wanky, I know," he added with a shrug. "And then there's Ash, who's sort of..." How could he describe that relationship? It came to him like a lightbulb moment. "He's my favourite, as you say."
