Annie's face twitched a little at the question, combined with a smile and a slight narrowing of the eyes. For such a small movement of her features, it masked a complex array of thought.

In her usual environs, the mental state of a SLA operative would have never been confidential. Mental Health assessments were mandatory after missions and often scrutinised by Internal Affairs to root out possible subversion or prevent the rise of manslaughter fixation.
However, even in her own practise of therapy she had kept many things confidential and had required such arrangements herself.
Regardless of all those things, she had no authority to report to here, no need to catch subversive elements and no need to cover her tracks from scrutiny. Her answer was quick, but equally loaded with a complex array of ommited conditions;
"I give you my word, these sessions are confidential unless I deem it that by keeping information to myself puts you or someone else at risk."

She laughed, a warm but mildly unsettling one in the context, "Although, in those situations I would usually handle it myself, if I were in my home-verse, so... Yes. These sessions will be confidential."
