Cuddy returned with the water in hand, immediately noting the way he was touching his bandages. "I can put the water in your hand or on a tray and move the tray over your bed." She offered and asked. "Are you eyes causing any discomfort? Itching, burning, dryness, pain?" She had planned on waiting before looking at his eyes with a pen light. He was awake and alert, there was no urgency. Unless his eyes were making him feel worse.
She found herself wishing he had friends or family or another version of Sarah, anyone close on the station that she could call to do the comforting while she worked.
