Miguel had heard the footsteps as they approached, so he didn't startle. He just turned his head very slightly at the sound of the voice. "Hello," he tried to say, but it quickly turned to a cough since it was the first thing he'd said in... uh, however long it had been, and his throat was beyond dry. He stopped coughing soon enough, his throat almost clicking as he tried to swallow, and had a second go at talking. "Hello," he repeated, his voice rasping out, and he couldn't help but lick at his lips, although that was pointless given how dry his mouth was as well. He'd recognized Dr. Cuddy's name from when Lyla had given him the run-down of all the people on the station, the good station. So... what the shock?
"...station?" he guessed, wondering if it was some fancy sort of cell he was in. He glanced all round him after that, Bonnie's weird light-sight spell letting him see outlines of things and people, so he could work out the size of the room he was in, the location of all the things and where Dr. Cuddy was standing, but not much in the way of details.
