"Oh," the god said. There was disappointment in his voice. He had hoped to gain more information but that seemed like a futile task now. "I can tell you but I will need to suppress that memory afterwards," he said plainly. "The more information I give you, the more you compromise what I do as long as you cannot protect yourself from his mind reading." He glanced at him. A grave tone in his words. "Even telling you this might compromise me. I would prefer to take this conversation-" he meant more than just this part of the conversation "-away from your mind until your body is healed.
