"Perhaps he won't. You are correct." He admitted, when he spoke, he may have been a bit too optimistic. Deep down, Erandur knew Higgs' kind all too well. All that power, with no introspective on how to use it properly, how to not be selfish with it. It was a maelstrom of weakness within Higg's self that led to this, he was sure.
"You're wrong there with that point. I was able to touch him, Katherine. For what it was worth, I was able to kill him. At least, I killed his body." Erandur was not proud of the fact that he allowed his anger to get the best of him. To take a life like that, even if it didn't matter in the end. But, this was hardly the first time he had done such a thing.
"After our battle, I came to realize just exactly where I went wrong. I was so blinded by my anger that I did not see what was in front of me." To be fair, he was never a master tactician, he was a warrior, a veteran, a Doh Va Kiin. The accent he once held faded during that last sentence, returning to his more Nordic roots.
"If we can come up with a way to attack him at all angles, we should be able to win." Though, he knew almost nothing of the young girl in front of him, there was something speaking to him about her. A voice in his mind that he had not heard in a very long time. That piqued his curiosity.
"I really do hate to distract from the matter.. But, are you of Dragonkin?" It was a blunt question, but Erandur only asked it as a 'yes' or 'no.' Either answer would not be decisive on his course of action. That Erandur was long dead.
